“Andreas really knows how to combine classic Italian ingredients with classy ambiance right on Main St in the heart of Carbondale. The Burrata salad to start was tangy, light and creamy with fresh young mozzarella cheese. For our entrees I had the Elk Ragout paired with a big Barollo and my wife had the Pheasant along with a Pinot Noir – scrumptious to say the least. Our 8yr old claimed that his spaghetti was the best he’s ever had so that right there says it all. We LOVE what Andreas Fishbacher produces. This lovely little restaurant in Carbondale, CO is just perfect for a casual fine dining experience. Service, attentive owner and chef, hot rolls, personalized attention to details … and, oh yes, wonderful flavors ! Every time we have eaten here has been an enjoyable evening with a fabulous menu to choose from a variety of dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have lived in the Aspen area for 40 years and have dined everywhere.
One of my current favorites (which I chose for my birthday dinner last night) is Allegria in Carbondale.
Every meal has been reminiscent of an evening in Tuscany. Absolutely delicious authentic food. Chef/owner time permitting visits every table, wait staff superlative.
On top of all that, the prices (for this area) are totally reasonable.
Book an outside table if you can; even though it’s on Carbondale’s main street, traffic is like a one-horse town and more interesting than annoying.
